A's Pull Double-Duty On the Angels
Playing a continuation game Wednesday, the A's picked up at the top of the 3rd inning on what was a previous game on March 26 played under protest by Angels' manager Kendall Wagner. The controversial play cited shortstop Christopher Rivera stealing home on a passball diving head-first to avoid the tag. Plate umpire originally called Rivera safe at home which was later overturned by the Board forcing a replay game.
Back-to-back homeruns by Rivera and Isaiah Terrazas gave the A's a comfortable lead which led to the win 7-2. Winning pitcher - Terrazas. Losing pitcher - Jacob Wagner for the Angels.
In game two of the double-header, the Angel's jumped out in front with a 2-0 lead with Alex Johnson on the mound. A's starting pitcher Colton Burrows struggled with control early in the game and would later be replaced by Uriel Garcia. After four complete innings played, the A's notched back-to-back wins with a score of 4-3. Garcia was credited with the win.
Next game: Saturday, March 31 vs the Continental Rockies 1:30 p.m. at BPALL.
Welcome!
Hi A's Families & Friends,
Welcome to YOUR site! This site was created as a "gathering place" to share photos, thoughts, calendar information, and other events related to our team. We hope you will find this site useful and chock-ful of newsworthy information.
I hope to have photos or links to photos almost immediately following the games. Some plans for the future include downloadable stats, scores, and picture montages, etc. I'm open to your suggestions and comments.
Just added: a chat board for real-time messages. Anyone can type a message - just enter your name and type away. It's really that simple. This is a user friendly-site (or at I'll try to make it such). You can even add a comment directly to a post.
Enjoy! See you online.
