A's Get the Red Out

A's Win 2nd-Half Game Opener

The A's looked on top of their game Monday facing the Red Sox despite a last effort scoring attempt by the Sox in the 6th inning.

Starting pitcher Christopher Rivera went 5 2/3 innings and maxed his pitch count leaving the game with a score of 2-1. Isaiah Terrazas closed the game with a save.

With runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Sox attempted a steal at home. Catcher Uriel Garcia tagged the Sox for the last out in a run-down from pitcher Terrazas.
